Day 6

It's had been an amazing week! We had learned so much.
Example - Socializing with other people, from other countries. in the beginning it was difficult, because we had to speak English and we just want to stay with the people from our own country.
We had learned something of ourself, got more selfconfidents, to talk english, to make theatre, to express our feelings, come over our fears and make our hopes come true.

Today is the last day, unfortunenatly and it's difficult to go home after all the experiences.
Today we started with meditation, then we talked about discrimination, where we made theatre out of the experiences, we also had some trusting exercises.
In the afternoon we made final evaluation.
Now we are excited for the big fiesta for tonight. Before the evening we will discover our secret friends.
Tomorrow have we will leave the place and take home to our families. :(

Love from

Day 5

Today we had made a dessert competition, it was so much fun. Each country had to make a typical recipe from their home country.
Because it is Easter Sunday we also had the opportunity to go the local Catholic Church, some went and some didn’t.

The highlight of today must be the meditation, we felt really relax and emotional.

In the break there was some football games, and it was a lot of fun.

The Catholic Church was beautiful decorated and the preach was really inspiring

We also made some theatre games outside, it was so much fun and we was laughing a lot

DAY 2

This morning, we did an interesting activity where we learnt how to control our breath and our voice. And it was Chinese method called ”qi qong”. The fact is that my mum is an instructor of this method and that she always asks me to practice it and I always refuse, so I was surprised when Gyvel said that we were going do it.  We discovered new feelings and it was nice because everybody participated. After that we went to the garden and we did a special activity where the people where blindfolded or speechless with scotch on their mouth and the others were bonded. And during the afternoon we made an small play about our dreams and we discovered a lot about each other.

Day 1

We started the day with a name game with a ball. The game was a way to learn each others names, use our ears and pretend that we were blind. It was a way to put everybody in the same condition.

First of all, I think that the whole activties that we have done during the day was really important, for know each others but also in order to lead us to a work group.
The theatre activity was a way to work with other people that we didn't know at all at the beggining. Nevertheless, having activities before it permits us to be less afraid with others. And we should transpose it to the real life.

FROZEN PICTURE :

Representing a situation of oppression let us think more about how it really happens in real life. Does it ever happens to you ? Should I do something if it happens ?

Our airplane fell into the Ocean!

Haha, just a joke - but the plane was delayed. Karin called us in the middle of the night, and told us that the plane was cancelled. We were in chock and desperate to know what was going to happen - was the trip cancelled too? We did not have any clue. When our thoughts were at the lowest point, Karin became our hero and told us that we had gotten a new flight at 4 a.m.

For some of us this whole flying thing was brand new, and it wasn't  better that we were tired by waking up so early. The flight was terrible and ind the end we were all sweating and nauseous, except Karin and Gyvel, who were in a deep sleep.

Anyway, we are now safe and sound in Amsterdam despite the tiring trip. But we still got long way to go.

3D - Dream, Discover, Do

is an 8 day long international youth exchange in France at Easter, from March 31 until April 7, 2015. The participants will be 18 young people in the age group 15-20 from France, Italy and Denmark, including young people with a loss of hearing or eyesight. An international exchange is unique. We have so much to share, and we will.
We focus on communities, and at the same time we take a close look at our own national, European and global dreams through the forum theatre. We use the forum theatre to learn more about ourselves and the world around us and to find ways to realize our dreams.
The project is subsidized by the EU.

One person, Cathy Baccomo,  have done a lot of work to make this dream come through being part of writing the project, but she is no longer with us. For all of us who knew her, we know that she will be joining us in our hearts all through this project!
